Once a stone barn that housed the Bracher family—who famously raised fourteen children within its wall, this historic building has been lovingly transformed into a cosy countryside retreat.
The John family, who have lived and farmed in Lambston, Pembrokeshire for over 125 years, took on the renovation with care and purpose, preserving the character of the original structure while bringing it into the modern day. Their deep roots in the area and passion for creating a welcoming space shine through in every detail of the cottage. Today, Brachers Cottage blends rustic heritage with contemporary comfort, offering guests a truly unique and fully accessible self catering stay in Pembrokeshire.

Accessibility was a top priority during our renovation. Our cottage comes with step-free access and a walk-in shower designed to accommodate those with mobility needs.
We proudly welcome dogs with no limit on how many! We kindly ask guests to bring their own bedding or baskets to ensure their dog has the home from home feel! The fully fenced and private garden at Brachers Cottage means they’re safe to roam while you relax.
